My World Post

I chose the Portland Classical Chinese Gardens as my first My World Post.

From their brochure:
"The mission of the Portland Classical Garden is to cultivate an oasis of tranquil beauty and harmony: to inspire, engage and educate our global community in the appreciation of a richlyauthentic Chineses culture".

The gardens truly do that. I chose this one because it shows the garden and also some of the skyline of Portland, Oregon. A times you can forget you are in a busy city while walking the gardens.
Below is a couple of photos of the tea house inside the gardens.

I look forward to more of Portland. I visited the city two years ago and I thought it was such a brief visit, it left me wanting more.
